HoodieWolf03 is a artist that specialises in toony cartoon artwork and funny situations. She also makes costumes and puppets and if you ask nicely I am sure she will make you a fursuit.

You can find her prices on her FA page which Prices can very depending on what you want with a sketch been the cheapest. But I say it is money well spent and unlike a few artist she will not charge £100 for a single character.
(After saying that I have probably jinxed it and the next commission I buy off her she will probably make a £100 commission just for me XD)
Now that I write more of this, it almost seems familiar and I may have advertised them once before on this website. Alwell at least they get a update.
For fursuits they are quite decent. Sometimes for a partial you may be shelling out £500 for a partial commission but I must say looking at the prices that is the cheapest I have even seen for partials.

I have thought about asking for a fursuit from her before, and even though I do not have experience of buying any fursuits off of her (yet). They are plenty of people that I know that have attended the furmeet that I have seen wearing them so I would strongly recommend buying one off of her even if your not planning on having a fursona it would be great when your YouTubing. If your a gaming YouTuber even better, most people tune into a person in a well designed costume or fursuit playing video games.
But I digress and if you do not have enough money for a fursuit just get a piece of art commissioned.
I was reading a certain furry guideline onlne on how to behave at cons and this inspired me to do one of my own except this furry guideline will not be aimed at cons it will be aimed at politically incorrect neighbourhoods and council estates.
This will hopefully protect you and others around you. If you live in a politically incorrect neighbourhood or council estate this will tell you whether it is a good idea to come out with that rainbow tail on. Or even passing the council estate or neighbourhood with a rainbow tail on.
So we are not trying to spoil your fun here we are just explaning that it may not be a good idea to do certain thing because it maybe unsafe.
Do not leave your house nor walk past with a tail on.
It is generally frowned apron to walk through a politically incorrect neighbourhood with a tail hanging out of your pants/tshirt/trousers. If you must wear a tail keep it hidden ether under your tshirt. Under a big coat or if it is a small costume tail have a netbook or laptop back hide it.
You can also simply take the tail off when passing a politically incorrect neighbourhood or if your setting off and you live in a politically incorrect neighbourhood take it off and put it in your bag before setting off.
2. Do not leave your house nor walk past with ears on.
It is generally frowned to walk out of the house with ears on. This can be cat ears bunny ears furry ears or even those neurowear ears at move to your brain wave. Whatever kind of animal ears at you have weather it is from the costume shop online or special furry fandom made. We strongly recommend not wearing them walking past a politically
incorrect council estate or neighbourhood or walking through it. If you want to wear the ears I suggest wearing them when your far away from the politically incorrect neighbourhood or council estate. Or you can wear the ears if they are not too big under your hood. This way you can fit in with the people in that estate neighbourhood.
Then after you pass the estate or neighbourhood you can take your hood down.
3. Can you wear a collar?
This is a gray area. I would suggest do some reshearch on the Neighbourhood or council estate you are passing. If you live there you can find out how bad it is by talking to some friendly neighbours at live in the politically incorrect council estate or neighbourhood. You can also monitor the peoples behaviour.
Just be careful with this. I do not know for certain but you are OK wearing a furry collar or dogs collar on a rainy or windy day. Not many people who live in the politically incorrect neighbourhood will want to come out of there house on days like them. But be weary when it is snowy weather because that brings out the kids same as fall or autumn.
If it is a sunny day you might be alright. If it is a hot sunny day and they are adults drinking and children playing then it is frond apron to wear a furry or dog collar. A goth collar is perfectly acceptable to wear around politically incorrect neighbourhoods and counsel estates.
5. All furry badges must be concealed
When passing a politically incorrect counsel estate or neighbourhood or going out of your house in a politically incorrect neighbourhood is to have your fursona badge concealed especially if it is a babyfur fursona badge. The Politically incorrect neighbourhood or counsel estate will not understand the fursona badges.
Those in the politically incorrect neighbourhood or counsel estate may have miss information online about the furry fandom and will not reason with the politically correct side of the furry fandom. This can lead to inapropriote comments said towards you at may not be true.
It is recomended that you display your fursona badge in or at cons fur meets home town a politically correct community.
6. Do not leave your house nor walk past in drag (mostly for males)
If you are a male and your fursona cross dresses or sees them selfs as a female and you want to show that when you walk out of your house STOP! It is generally frond aporn to wear lipstick if your a man or wear any feminine clothing or make up if you are passing or live in a politically incorrect neighbourhood or counsel estate.
However if your a woman at wears masculine clothing passing a politically incorrect Neighbourhood or counsel estate that is acceptable. Although if you are a little girl in masculine clothing you might get laughed at.
If your a man and you want to wear feminine stuff only wear the bear minimum. Then once your far away from the politically incorrect counsel estate then you can apply your make up and get dressed up in a suitable place. Or just wait untill you are out of the politically incorrect neighbourhood or counsel estate before applying make up
and getting dressed in a suitable place.
7. Do not fursuit unless there are more then 3/ There is a woman fursuiting/ There is a cop fursuiting.
It is generally frond upon for a full grown adult to walk past a politically incorrect neighbourhood dressed as a giant cartoon wolf or something? It is also frond upon if you go out of your house in a politically incorrect neighbourhood and start walking around in your fursuit.
It is still found upon if you walk about in a politically incorrect counsel estate. If you are going to fursuit up like that or even wear a costume make sure you are only doing a little task like putting something in the bin outside or recycling something. It is best if you do not draw too much attention to yourself even if it is your back yard.
You can put the bins out in a costume or fursuit but keep in mind not to stay out too long after you have done the task at hand walk strait back into your house. If you are going to fursuit with some friends make sure they are more then 3 fursuiters. If they are less then 3 just walk through the neighbourhood or council estate as you are talking about things and
furry stuff. If you have a female fursuiter walking through a politically incorrect council estate or neighbourhood then more attention will be on her then you. Likewise if you are a full grown female adult at gose on a council estate or neighbourhood furwalk this can take the tention off from the other guys. Also try to stick up for them if something bad
happens. If you are walking around in your fursuit and you are a police man you can call for back up or arrest them for implicitness. Though if it is a Politically incorrect neighbourhood you could get hasseled form the locals/ the locals who live there while your on your fun little walk.
Or if you know a fursuiting cop they may be able to help you if the locals are been a little nasty. More then 3 fursuiters are more likely to make people think it is some sort of event and may be a little more nicer to you.
You should never walk in your fursuit in and past a politically incorrect council estate or neighbourhood. Otherwise some of the adults may accuse you of been a pedo when all you want to do is have fun.
If your a kid at is wearing a fursuit in a politically incorrect concil estate or neighbourhood it is probably acceptable even though you may grow out of it.
For adults it is accseptable to wear your fursuits at cons home furmeets. You could even wear them in town. Unless a police man tells you otherwise. But be aware that people may laugh and be funny with you so it maybe better if you wait until a furwalk.
8. Do not wear a leash/a harness
Wearing a leash on your collar or harness is generally frowned upon. This will give the politically incorrect council estate or neighbourhood the completely wrong message. Especially if they are kids around and parents have had a few drinks. Wait until your in a more open minded place like town and even then it is a gray area.
Remember to bring a friend at will lead you around ether by the collar or the harness. Remeber if your friend is a furry and they ask you to lead them around do not let go of the leash. If you do a child could pull on it hard or a sinister person could lead them away. If you like to know more about how to handle somefur on a leash
I apologise for doing this but it is generally frond upon going out in babyfur overalls or onesies or footies. It is also genrally frond upon if you go out wearing nothing but a adult nappy/diaper/diaper under plastic pants/cloth nappy under lockable pants. It is also frond upon if you go out into the politically incorrect neighbourhood or council estate with
a diaper bulge coming out of your pants unless you medically need them. If you do not medically need them then try to where something at is not going to make it obvious at you are wearing a nappy. Likewise I know not all babyfurs/diaperfurs wear diapers but for those of you who do I will try to tell you.
Try to make sure that you can not see any diaper shape in the mirror when you have your trousers on. If it is not that obvious then you can wear them in the politically incorrect council estate or neighbourhood but make sure they are not showing. If you can not see a diaper shape what so ever then continue.
It is a grey area when it comes to the pacifier. You can always say it is fashion. It is genrally frond upon to suck once pacifier when in a politically incorrect neighbourhood or council estate. It is more better if you wait until private babyfur and diaperfur meets arise or at furry cons to do all that.
10. Do not make animal noises when it is not needed
It is generally considered rude to do a animal noise in a Politically incorrect Neighbourhood or estate unless you had a drink and your a small kid then it is perfectly somewhat acceptable

First thing you should do is to research the fandom.
Looking at some Interview videos on YouTube is OK.
But be careful with some interviews.
For example anything at says FOX news do not watch it.
They will probably more then likely trash the fandom for you before you even know what we are all about?
Ask a few furries if you interested join some furry websites.
I suggest Weasyl FA (furaffinity) Or even maybe DA (deveantART)
Of course DA is not a fur site but non the less it has a few fur groups and furry pictures. Try chatting to a few of the furries by leaving comments or better yet send them notes or message them.
Yeah they may not get angry with you that way.
Try to avoid Wikipedia or any other website at is going to have a pick or go at furries. You do not want to be researching that!
Also beware where you go Online.
You could end up in a group of not so nice people.

Ask yourself this do you want to be fursuited be a animal?
This is not to everyone’s taste some people can not afford a fursuit because they are so expensive.
The other option is making it. Now there are plenty of tutorials online some less useful then others. If you do not know how to sew ask you family or someone you know to teach you.
Or you could do what I did and ask them to do it for you nicely.
Some people do not have the experience or the time to do a fursuit. Lets way it up.
You have a Job in the morning your house needs cleaning your catching up with the washing in the afternoon. The bills!
Some people only have bits of the fursuit like a tail or ears.
I know a few at bring only the tail slaves feet and head.
My opinion if you have a head your pretty much in a fursuit.
If you are interested in these suits online or furry conventions or if you are extremely lucky they may have one at one of the meets.
Some people where cosplay animal pyjamas! That is one way.
But at the end of the day it is up to you!

When you finally fond a free to come furmeet which a lot of them are usually are I am guessing.
If it is your first time it may be best to go with someone you know. Family/ a friends/ carer/ Sport worker/ someone you trust.
It could be anyone. Just as long as you know them and know they are not going to turn around and say “We are at the furmeet See ya!”
If you have to suffer so do they. I mean make sure nothing bad happens.
Because let’s face it it is the internet you could have come along to a place where people are pertaining to be furries but really there just some people who are drinking and smoking indoors.
But most likely that will never happen.
It might but it is highly unlikely.
In worse cause sernerio nobody can come with you.
You have 2 choices.
1 do not go but you may be missing out on somthing big! But you will be safe.
2 Go to the furmeet but be weary infect maybe if it is in some sort of bar take a seat near the exit. Once you have built up a bit of confidence and found out these people are not out for any revenge chat to them.
When your with someone if you are still scared chat to the people at are nearist to your side of the table or near the person you know.
Once you feel more cofedent you can start talking to more people. You can even start sitting down and gradually living the person you
know behind. Do not worry you will be coming back to them.
If the person has to go leave if it is your first furmeet.
If it is your 10th furmeet then you can choose to stay or leave.
But if it gets dark leave.
Hopefully you should have some good furends at the end of it. You can keep in touch a recon a few may be on DeveantART or Furaffinity.

Going into a city on your own I would not recommend it.
Unless you do not have far to walk into the city to meet your furry friends.
Try going to the city with other furries.
Because people may not be as mean if you was not with someone.
If you do want to go out to the city on your own make a note.
Look out when you are not in your fursuit and see what people
Treat other people. If they are treating anyone in a costume like trash then you know that it may not be the best of idears. If they are just laughing at anyone in a costume think to your self.
How far can I hold my petions untill I can not bear it any more
and run away.
Going with other people you know fursuiters especially can reduce the people making fun of you. Of course they will still be people at may make fun of you but you may feel more confident because you
have your furry friends or meats with you. People will start thinking is this some sort of event?
So they may not be as harsh as if you was on your own

COLLAR SAFETY
You may want to buy yourself a collar it could be a Goth collar a dog collar or a fursuit collar.
If you want one just for you buy a Goth collar.
If you want one fur your fursuit buy a big dog collar or a fursuit collar.
If non of the dog collars fit around your fursuit it may be a good idea to buy yourself a fursuit collar or learn how to make one.
To insure you are safe make sure you have the lead off indoors unless you are near the people or furries you know.
When your out side in a furwalk/ Walking around with your fellow furries and this is inportant.
Make sure one of them is leading you around otherwise a tottal stranger might thing this is a gold n opportunity to kidnap you and lead you away from the rest of the group to do goodness knows what. They are also quite hard to get off if the stranger is pulling tight.
Make sure that a friend or someone you know furry or not is leading you around with the group on a leash. Visa versa If someone is wanting you to lead them with the leash to go walkies do the same for them lead them with the group.
They would have probably done the same for you. Also if a person gets board and gives the leash to another furry/person in the furry group it is not the end of the world. You may experiance a little bit of that in the walk a furry will get board of leading you and gives the
leash to another furry to walk you and so on and so forth.
Just as long as they know that person and they are not saying “Hay drunk people I have never met before in my life do you want to walk him?”
Hopefully you would not do the same go up to someone at you have by the leash and say “Hay drunk people I have never met before in my life do you want to walk her?” Most of the furries will lend you a helping paw with your walk and if they don’t do not bring the leash.
And you would do the same for a furry who was on a collar and leash.
Remember if your leading do not let go of the leash otherwise if you do that and turn your back any strange hulligan could take it and run away with one of your good mates.
I could not find how to make a fursuit collar but I did find how to make a adjustable dog collar. you could make it up to standered fursuit neck size

HARNESS SAFETY
Just like the collar you may buy yourself a harness. It is much better and safer because it dose not go around the neck.
You may want to go walking around with just a harness without a fursuit. with a leash attached that is OK but what I know there are a lot of furries without fursuits at do not tend to wear a harness. Collar OK but harnesses no. So you may get a few wired looks but each to there own.
You may not get a few wired looks.
You can ether buy a harness but keep in mind they do cost quite a bit. Or maybe you may find a collar cheaper go to 6 collar safety of this little instructional thing.
You can always make your own harness. Or if you are lucky you could get someone else to do it for you. Or if someone is offering you a serten price and promises to beat whatever price you get anywhere else. That is if you are intrested in a harness if nether a collar
nor harness interests you skip 6 and 7.
But if it dose interests you then stay and keep reading.
If you are lucky you may know a furry at dose harnesses for a living they may teach you how to make a harness for your fursuit.
But like last time to insure you are safe make sure you have the lead off indoors unless you are near the people or furries you know.
When your out side in a furwalk/ Walking around with your fellow furries and this is inportant.

Some harnesses are difficult to get off so you may be fiddling

perhaps one of those clip harnesses you know the once with clips on the kind you can get on bags sometimes.
Make sure it is a furry or someone you know no strangers.

of the furries do not bite. You just have to be worry of serten people. Maybe there is a drunk furry at may get violent with you.
You may need to avoid reporters ether officel news reporters or internet news reporters or interviewers be internet once or not.
because it may put you on the spot.
If your lost ask the staff to direct you.
If you get a reporter and you do not want to talk to them say your busy and you need to do something you can not talk.
If you are a mute furry a furry at can not talk just wave your hands to say no and go. If you are a squicker try to squick sorry can’t stay.
If they say “well where are you going?” “just say I need to be somewhere” If they keep on bugging you threaten to get a member of staff on them. It may shut them up! Sorry I do not mean to be mean!
If they ignore that and keep on bugging you and say tell us about anthro con tell us about it. Find a staff member!
If they grab you and do not want to let you out of there sight screem or shout at the top of your voice “HELP!” Say this several times
until a staff member comes.

This is really important the most inportant of them all.
When you are visiting a furry for the first time and you are going to there house always bring a friend or someone you know.
If a friend or someone you know can not be available and you end up going on your own be careful.
Always bring your mobile make sure in advance that it is charged up. and has a lot of credit.
If something was to happen you need to tell someone.
See weather the furry is going to lock the door or put the latch on.
Loads of people lock the door so do not get too worried about it.
Get worried about the speed at they go.
If they lock the door quickly and look at you start worrying.
If they are locking it at a normal rate then there is no need for concerns. Chances are at they are doing there home routeen.
If they leave the catch on you know you can get out of the house / apartment / whatever anytime you like.
When you are inside stuff you should be worried about.
If they have a collection of Samara swords then it’s safe to say that you want to ask them if you can leave.
Any bad things I can not go into too much detail because
This is furries and costumes after all.
If they have sharp stuff weapons all around the house then you can worry.
If there house / apartment is a pigsty be careful where you step.
You do not want to injure yourself.
If there house / apartment is nice and tidy looking you they may not be raise of concern.
Also take into consideration how many people are they.
If it is just you and them be worry.
If they offer you a drink or something to eat turn it down.
Until you know this person a little more better.
If they is someone else and they offer them a drink you can have one but be weary.
If they say they are other furries on there way wait until they come in and he offers them all drinks then if they are still standing.
You know what I mean then you can drink the same with food.
If they are already furries in the apartment / house and they already have drinks and food it is most unlikely the drink at they will offer you will be dangerous it could be but it is a slim chance.
Maybe try sniffing the drink if it is water or juice and it dose not smell right do not drink it!
Beer or alchahole only if you are 18 or 21 depending on where you are may not smell funny? Be aware of that.
You should be fine most of the people in this world do not want to cause you any distress or harm only some.

So if you have a day off work on that day or you plan to have a 1 day holiday you you can rock up in one of your amazing fursuits if you have one. If not or your worried you may lose it or whatever reason you can bring some small animal costumes or live it all together.
They will be a lot of activities for you to do anyway
WANING If you buy any alcoholic drinks what so ever you must be at least 18 OR OVER TO BUY A ALCOHOLIC DRINK!
I got the idea from another wordpress website doing a different thing on these lines.
But I am not going too much into that.
So what do you if you can not dress like your fursona or ponysona. Or maybe you need to think about more about food and cloths rather then your favorite tail in that costume shop window. Or on the web. Maybe your parents say no because they have seen too many bad media at shines furries in a bad light. Or maybe you just do not have the time anymore?
Well not to worry Because I hopefully have a sulution or a suggestion.
One of the suggestions you could choose cloths at are suited to your fursona. If you have a skunk fursona then you would get black
There is a lot of rounding up so if you can not get black and white or it is too pricey to get black and white.
Just go for gray or white or black and gray as long as it is cheep!!
This is a suttle touch on showing your fursona without going into a grate deal of detail.
For example Angellothefox now lets face it as much as I would love I can not go out into the public doman all the time with that suit on. So when I went to the shop with someone to buy a raincoat I bought something like this. But Unisex with a small pouch at the bottom
OK it may not be the exact colour of my foxy friend fursona but it is about rounding up. This is also good for Ponypersonas as well. Just get a cheap plain coloured shirt with your ponysona colour on this could be the manes colour the or the tails colour or a little bit of both. You do not have to dress as your ponysona say you like one of the characters from the show say you like Big Mac
There is a lot of shirts around at looks almost the same colour as Big Macs fur. So if this shirt is not too expensive it is a Yup!
If it is costly then it is a Nope!

They are also charity shops to get your hands on some second hand cloths. Who knows you they may have your ponysona or fursona’s colour
The other Suggestion is ask. There is no shame in asking? You could say to your friend at knows you “Oooh I really want that shirt because I like the colour” and that’s it.
You do not have to go into great detail by saying “Oh I am a furry and that shirt is the same colour as my fursuit”
One they may not know what a furry is and you have to have a long destitution about your friend at may or may not be interested. If your friend dose know what a furry is or is a furry themselves by all means say that.
Two they may not be interested. People can say what is this and not take any notice.
Three in a very unlikely event they will criticise you by saying you do something explised or the more tame whatever floats your boat reference.
Maybe ask your friend/family/carers/furry/brony/spouse to put it away for you for Christmas. If they know you a little bit more better you can ask for them to put it away for your birthday.
Maybe you do not want a shirt maybe you want a collar. Now all you have to do is just ask. Just ask someone to get the word out at you want a collar. (Preferably a dogs) It is best to measure necks but I would assume most peoples necks are a large in dog size collars.

You could find a friend at has a dog at has a tatty old dogs collar at there dog dose not need anymore and ask them if you could have it. Of cause your friend might look at you wired but at least you have obtained a collar for your own furryness or broniness. Your pony OC could have a dog collar for all I know or maybe your a diamond dog?
You maybe able to get this sort of tatty collar from the grate vine of my friend know another friend at knows another friend at knows another friend at knows another friend at says his friend has a old tatty collar they never use any more.
The reason why I waned about allergies is because some people are allergic to dogs so I decided to warn you in advance if you are allergic to dogs please specifie to your friend at you want a collar at has not been warn by a dog for a while or even no dog completely.
You may even get a goth collar out of the grate vine but it dose not matter a collars a collar after all and your mate female or male or both has gone through all that effort in getting you the collar. At least be thankful no matter which collar you get!

What happens when they start to charge you. Hopefully your friend will not do that but if they do make sure it is a small amount 50p or 50¢ £1 or $1, £2 or $2 are pushing it. If they ask for any more above this amount do not except it! If they go on rambling on about they went half a mile to get your collar just live it it is not worth it.
You maybe in a neighbourhood/estate or flats where everyone knows everyone, and you want to ask for a collar.
You could lie and say your planning on getting a dog. But it is better to be truthful when possible. You could try to be sly about it

You could be sneaky about it and say to your neighbours/estate neighbours whatever.
“What would you say if someone at did not own dogs bought a collar?” You choice how sneaky you want it too be it could be at a party it could be a curiosity question. You may have 2 default curios questions before you get to the collar question.
If there answer is “whatever floats there boat” or something on that line you know your in the clear.
Even if there answer is “I would think that would be a bit weird” Your still in the green.
If they answer is “I would think they was a sick person” or something on that line then you know if you asked for a dog collar you would be criticized servilely for it.

If the person or people you are asking suddenly say “Why do you want a dog collar?”

Depending on what reaction you got will depend on what action you will take. Walking out may make the person think you did want that collar. It may also make the person sad because they thought they hurt your feelings because they know you wanted the collar.

It is not recommended but you could lie if you have got a bad reaction and say “nope just curious?” Be careful how you say it because they may think you maybe a sick person with there finger and thumb on there chine.
You can tell the truth how you want to do it is up to you. Ether “yes I would like a collar thank you” Or “YES I LIKE TO WEAR A COLLAR AND I AM PROUD OF IT!”
Just remember not to push your luck.
Unless your friend or family, carer, other really knows you do not ask for any dog toys otherwise you will or may probably get a more weirder reaction then you would if you said your getting a collar. So leave it out.
Another suggestion if the fabric is cheap you could always make your own dog collar.

I am sure you can probably get your hands on some belt buckles lying around the house/flat/bungalow.

Taily is a tail that wags according to your heart rate so if you are are running the tail will wag very quickly if you like me are on the laptop then the tail will wag wag slowly.
There is another tail that is the same thing but will wag according to your brain waves.
So dose the neuro ears they will bend down when you are relaxed and come up when you are focused.
Think about how revolutionary this will be when it hits the USA and the UK. Think about the furries they would love a tail that actually wags and some eairs.
What about the bronies? I am sure they will find some way to make the ears more pony looking then cat or furry looking. You can do a lot with airbrushing now a days.
So you may want proof before you phone up the men in the clean white coats to take me away.
